Built on Conviction.
Built to Last.OUR STORY
A Quiet Crisis. A Permanent Answer.
Every week in America, another church goes dark. The building gets sold, converted, or left to decay — and the story it carried disappears with it.
EverHouse exists because we believe that shouldn’t happen. We acquire, restore, and protect church properties — placing them permanently in the hands of congregations who will carry the mission forward.
WHAT WE DO
Four Pillars of Stewardship
01. Secure
We step in before a church property is lost — acquiring at-risk buildings before they reach commercial buyers.
02. Honor
Every property we acquire remains a house of worship. Its spiritual identity is protected, not repurposed.
03. Renew
We invest in the physical care of each building — restoring what’s been neglected so it can serve again.
04. Release
We connect restored sanctuaries with congregations that need a permanent home — giving both a future.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
Psalm 127:1 · The Foundation of Our Work
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Principles That Don’t Bend.
Permanent, not temporary.
Once EverHouse acquires a property, it stays a church. Forever. No commercial conversion. No exit clause. No exceptions.
Stewardship over ownership.
We don’t acquire buildings to own them — we hold them in trust for the congregation, the neighborhood, and the generations who come after.
Kingdom return on capital.
Our model produces real financial returns for investors. But the greater return is a living church, rooted in its community, carrying the Gospel forward.
WHO BUILT THIS
Led by a pastor who understood the stakes.
Mark Watson is the founder of EverHouse and lead pastor of Link Church in Charlotte, NC. With a background in architecture and real estate development, he built EverHouse after watching too many churches in his own community lose buildings that were never meant to be lost. This isn’t just a business. It’s a calling.
